FOUNDATION

North Wales Crusaders Foundation is the official charitable arm of the North Wales Crusaders (number 1195794). The charity is independent and has its own governance and trustees who will oversee the decision-making process.

The Foundation aims to provide high-quality sports, health and educational opportunities to people living in North Wales. The charity will achieve this through development team staff and volunteers by delivering engaging activities and projects to the community.

The Foundation has four key strategic areas to support the community.

  1. To promote the benefits of being physically active and healthy

  2. To provide opportunities for young people to develop life skills through education

  3. To provide opportunities for the community to be safer and stronger together

  4. To advance the growth of rugby league and sport in the area

If you are on social media please give us a like or a follow on Facebook and Twitter. You will be able to find out the latest projects and events planned, whilst helping raise the profile of the charity.

Junior Rugby League

Our mission is to grow junior Rugby League participation across North Wales. Below is an exciting new initiative to get children active in the sport.

The mini rugby sessions are aimed at primary aged children Years 2,3 and 4 in four locations in North Wales. The sessions will be fun, engaging and delivered by experienced and qualified rugby league

coaches. For more information and to register your child's interest, Click Here

Women and girls RL Development

North Wales Crusaders and North Wales Crusaders Foundation are looking to launch an exciting development programme for women and girls at the end of March 2023. The programme will run both under 16’s and open-aged players (16+) groups.

We are looking for players, coaches and volunteers to support the launch of this exciting programme.

The programme is open to all ability levels and creates an excellent pathway to play regularly for North Wales Crusaders and even at international level for Wales. To register, Click Here

Matchday festivals

We plan to organise a series of junior Rugby League festivals in partnership with the North Wales Crusaders throughout the summer.

These festivals will be played before a North Wales Crusaders 1st team match. The day will consist of the junior rugby festival, followed by pre-match entertainment, which will be an opportunity to be part of the guard of honour, and a chance to meet players and enjoy the game.

Our ground (CSM Stadium) is in Colwyn Bay, close to the shoreline of the beautiful North Wales coast. Ideal for teams and families looking for a great day out or a weekend trip to play a bit of rugby and do some sightseeing.
