North Wales Crusaders are set to welcome league favourites Oldham RLFC to Stadiwm CSM this Saturday in a Betfred League One clash which promises to be an entertaining affair.
The last meeting between the two sides saw North Wales knock Oldham out of the play-offs on their own turf as a drop-goal secured a 13-12 victory for Carl Forster's side in 2023.
However, fortunes have since changed for Saturday's visitors as following a takeover and significant investment during the off-season, they'll arrive in Colwyn Bay as the odds on favourites to be crowned champions this year.
The Roughyeds aren't unbeatable though, as their last outing showed with Sean Long's side suffering their first defeat of the campaign at the hands of Keighley Cougars who moved above them in the table, albeit having played a game more.
Off the field, supporters have often shared a mutual appreciation for each other, however, when the hooter sounds on Saturday evening you can be sure that Carl Forster's side shall be looking to put a dent in Oldham's promotion hopes for a second year running.
